TEEGAN DYSON
MELBOURNE | BARBER EDUCATOR
I discovered barbering at 16 and instantly knew it was my path. Now, with 15 years in the industry, I haven’t looked back. Originally from Tasmania, I made the move to Melbourne to take my craft to the next level — and I’m now proud to be part of the team at The Barber Club in Port Melbourne.
I’m the co-founder of The Barber Club Academy, an ambassador for Jukes Grooming, and an educator for Gamma+ Australia & New Zealand. My passion lies in clean fades, precision scissor work, and constantly evolving — both personally and professionally. For me, barbering isn’t just a job — it’s a lifestyle built on growth, creativity, and connection.

Joe Forkan
Perth based education – Solutions Co.
I started my career 4 years ago by getting inspiration from hairstylists on the internet, to me wanting to be just like them. I started cutting hair from my house in Ireland, and now work in Australia, gaining knowledge from many different kind of hairstylists, to gathering each little detail from them and putting it into my own twist. Elevating barbering through modern education.

Luke Kelso
I am a qualified barber of 5 years from Sydney, Australia. I recently relocated to Melbourne to work at a new salon ‘The Barber Club’ located in Ringwood. I have been part of the Gamma+ team for 2 years.
In 2024 I was lucky enough to attend the Pro Beauty India hair expo in Mumbai, India as a brand ambassador for Gamma+. Later attended Kolkata, India conducting week long in salon training with emerging barbers.
I seek to be the best modern barber continuously upskilling and attending industry events in order to stay on trend and ensure each cut is suitable to the client, their look and their lifestyle. Services I provide include men’s haircuts such as fading & long hair, men’s perming, beard shaping, shaves, deluxe facials and grey coverage hair colouring.
Outside of work I am a avid sneaker collector and often spend my days off chilling with my American Staffy ‘Tommy’.

Lorenzo Manuele
Barber | Educator
I started cutting hair later than most in the industry, at the beginning of 2022, aged 25 and fell completely in love with it. Starting as an apprentice then transitioning to junior barber was tricky, but I quickly made my way up to qualified barber and then moved into an education role as well as managing the shop I was at. I love the barbershop for its simple goal of making people feel good. I’m also a very creative person so being able to create different hairstyles is something I enjoy. I can’t wait to continue to learn and grow as a barber and educator.

Maeve Rice

I love to keep up with modern barbering, always trying out new styles and trends ! I started my career by cutting hair in a small town, (my home town), in the south of Ireland. I have recently made the move to Perth WA, hoping to progress my career even further. I was offered an amazing opportunity to work in @stanford barbers where I am a lead educator | Senior Barber

Hair has always been my thing. Cutting it! Teaching it! Talking about it! I love spending time with good people, worldwide, who are just as obsessed as I am. Partnered with my brother, we own and run 2 hair salons in Brisbane. I also Run “lil’ off the top”, an in-salon cutting education, our online store (“lil’ off the shop) and “Heducation”, our online education subscription portal.
Educating across Australia, for more than 16 years, cutting is my main game, and making education simple is one of my favourite things to do.
I have been awarded Australian Educator of the year 6 times, Men’s Hairdresser of the Year 3 times, and Queensland Hairdresser of the Year Twice. Whilst I love to receive these acknowledgements of my work, the best part of being a hairdresser is the people. Good energy, a few laughs and hair flying around, and sending people home knowing a little more about what the hell just happened and a smile on their dial.

Stephen Williams
My barbering career began from a birthday gift at the age of 15. Receiving my first pair of clippers, not knowing what the future would hold. Fascinated by the craft of barbering and the power of social media is where I am today. Cutting now 8 years in my career and Co owner of The Barber Club Goldcoast. I want to inspire the next generation of barbers and show them first hand that anything in this industry is possible!

Kurt Land
I’m a 17-year-old barber, educator, and barbershop owner from Brisbane’s outer western region. My journey in the hair industry began five years ago in my garage, and by the age of 14, I had opened my own barbershop. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to continually refining my craft while helping educate and inspire the next generation of barbers.
I’m passionate about the art of barbering—not just for the creativity it allows, but for the genuine connections it creates. For me, every haircut is an opportunity to build relationships, make a positive impact, and contribute to an industry that has given me so much.

Adam Isbill
Starting my career in 2014 I progressed through different shops and quickly found myself working with the British Master Barbers association. This opened me up to working with different brands, networking, photoshoots and running competitions in the industry. 2023 I decided to pack my bags and travel. After 3 years of back packing and working around Australia I’ve settled in Newcastle with Gallery X barbershop studio because of their forward thinking and creative mindset.
