Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all ticket purchases and attendance at the Gamma+ Education Night (“Gamma+ Education Night”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By purchasing a ticket or attending a Gamma+ Education Night event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Tickets & Admission

• Tickets are subject to availability and are only valid for the event, date and location specified at the time of purchase.
• A valid ticket is required for entry. Tickets may be checked or scanned upon arrival.
• Tickets must not be duplicated, altered or used for unauthorised commercial purposes.
• Gamma+ reserves the right to refuse entry or remove a person from an event where reasonably necessary, including for safety, security, behavioural or venue-related reasons.
• Attendees must comply with reasonable directions from Gamma+ staff, security and venue personnel.

2. Ticket Transfers & Resale

• Tickets may only be transferred or resold in accordance with any instructions provided by the Gamma+ team.
• Gamma+ is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorised third parties.
• We recommend purchasing tickets only through the official Gamma+ website.

3. Refunds

• Tickets are generally non-refundable.
• Where permitted, refunds may be available if a ticket is successfully resold through the official Gamma+ website or authorised ticketing platform. A $30 administration fee may apply.
• Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

4. Event Changes, Cancellation & Postponement

• Gamma+ reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event details, including the venue, program, speakers, performers, timings and other event elements.
• If an event is cancelled or postponed, ticket holders will be notified of the available options where applicable.
• Where an event is cancelled, postponed or substantially changed, refunds or ticket exchanges may be offered in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the event.
• Gamma+ is not responsible for costs incurred by attendees in connection with travel, accommodation, parking or other expenses associated with attending an event, except where required by law.

5. Conduct & Behaviour

The Gamma+ Education Night is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Attendees must not:
• engage in threatening, abusive, discriminatory, violent or inappropriate behaviour;
• harass or intimidate other attendees, staff, speakers, educators or exhibitors;
• interfere with presentations, demonstrations or event activities;
• damage venue property or event equipment; or
• behave in a way that creates a safety risk or disrupts the event.

Gamma+ reserves the right to remove anyone who breaches these requirements without refund.

6. Alcohol & Responsible Service

• Alcohol may be available at the event and is subject to applicable liquor laws and venue requirements.
• Valid identification may be required.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol practices apply.
• Gamma+, venue staff and authorised bar staff may refuse service or remove attendees who are intoxicated, disorderly or behaving inappropriately.
• Outside alcohol may not be brought into the event unless expressly permitted by the venue.

7. Photography, Video & Recording

Photography, video and audio recording may take place during the Gamma+ Education Night events.
By attending a Gamma+ Education Night event, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs, video or other recordings captured at the event.
Gamma+ may use event content for promotional, marketing, social media, website and other reasonable business purposes, subject to applicable laws.
If you have concerns about appearing in event content, please contact the Gamma+ team.

8. Personal Belongings

Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings while attending the Gamma+ Education Night event.
Gamma+ is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property except where required by law.

9. Venue Requirements

Each Gamma+ event is subject to the conditions and requirements of the venue in which it is held.
Attendees must comply with all applicable venue rules, including requirements relating to entry, security, alcohol, prohibited items, accessibility and emergency procedures.

10. Health & Safety

Attendees must follow all reasonable health and safety instructions provided by Gamma+, venue staff, security or emergency personnel.
If an attendee becomes unwell or requires assistance during an event, they should notify a member of the Gamma+ or venue team.

11. Intellectual Property

All Gamma+ branding, logos, artwork, website content, graphics, photographs, videos and other materials are owned by or licensed to Gamma+ unless otherwise stated.
You must not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially use Gamma+ intellectual property without prior written permission.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Gamma+ is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury or expense arising from attendance at an event, except where caused by our negligence or otherwise required by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected through ticket purchases, registrations and event participation will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. General

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
The Terms & Conditions applying to your ticket purchase will be those in effect at the time of purchase, unless otherwise required by law.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Australia.
